Casework Opportunities
Casework is a crucial part of the work of the branch, supporting individual members with problems they may be experiencing at work. Caseworkers can help in a number of ways: answering simple queries on staff policies, acting as an advocate for members to resolve problems informally with HR and management, and supporting members in formal grievance and disciplinary procedures.
If you would like to train as a caseworker we are keen to hear from you. We are looking for people who are sympathetic and good communicators, with an analytical approach, but you do not need to have directly relevant experience.

The course will start at 10am and finish at 4pm approximately, meeting room at Walton Hall to be confirmed. Tea/coffee and lunch will be provided and the branch will pay reasonable travel expenses for you to attend
