Pete Wood

Pete Wood is a project manager in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, he has worked in multiple roles at the OU since he first arrived in 2010.  Pete has crossed between various Academic, Associate Lecturer, Academic-Related and professional services positions, whilst also gaining a PhD.  Pete previously worked as a sustainable transport campaigner and community organiser before he joined the OU.  For the OU’s UCU branch Pete is a Green Rep, Union Learn Rep and first became a UCU member in 2011.  Pete has also been on the national UCU's Anti-Casualisation Committee, sitting on it beween 2018 and 2021.
