UCU ballot for the USS dispute

Voting papers have been sent out today (29th November 2017), in the ballot for industrial action over proposals to end guaranteed pension payments in the University Superannuation Scheme (USS).

If you have not received your paper ballot paper by Monday 4th December use the UCU online form to order a replacement.

As we go to ballot it is good to see some universities finally expressing public doubts about proposals made on their behalf which, on a like for like basis, worsen pension benefits by up to 40%.

Remember the law says UCU needs at least a 50% turnout in the ballot if we want to defend pensions so we need your vote - the ballot closes on 19th January 2018.
