The Open University branch of the University and College Union
UCU members will have have received an email tonight (12th March) from Sally Hunt regarding the ACAS talks. The negotiators have come back with a proposal that we assume they wish to put to members.

UCU’s Higher Education Committee (HEC) meets today (13th March 2018) to discuss this. We assume that the HEC will make a decision on whether to ballot on this or reject and whether to suspend or continue action.
Unfortunately within this timeframe it has been impossible to organise a members’ meeting for our branch.
If you see this message it would be good to know your views. Please email ucu@open.ac.uk with whether you agree or not.
For information there is also an open letter in circulation for those who believe the proposal should be rejected.
