Michael Bartlett

Michael joined the Open University as an agency temp in 2016. Since then, he has worked in academic-related roles such as Student Recruitment Advisor, Curriculum Assistant, Deanery Assistant and is now a Digital Analytics Manager in the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) department. He is an OU graduate, with a B.Sc. in Mathematics, and is now studying for an M.Sc. in Mathematics. Before joining the Open University, he worked as a rock climbing instructor.

For UCU, Michael is a departmental rep and caseworker, has helped support MarComms through several restructuring exercises, is active on the Recruitment, Organising and Campaigns committee, and helps maintain the branch website.
